Kathy from MaPaw emailed yesterday and said that Brandi, the sixteen year old sibe MaPaw rescued, was not feeling too well.
Brandi, for those that don't know, was rescued earlier this year from a horrific situation. She had been tied up outside for years, with no attention, little food, and little water. She deserves much love, and many prayers. She is finally getting the love that she deserves. She needs to be around longer to bask in it.
Here is a picture of Brandi. This is the email that Kathy sent out:

Her appetite has decreased significantly and Pat and I are pretty much hand feeding her right now. She wouldn't eat at all last night so Pat took her to Burger King, her favorite, and coaxed some burger into her tummy. She is still her sweet, loving self but sleeps more now. Pat are stopping for a lot of cuddle time with her and Brandi kisses. Still she follows me from office to office at work, never letting me out of her sight. We are hoping it is just something she will shake off, but Dr. Kennedy will be seeing her Thursday and we will have another geriatric blood work up and checkher creatin and BUN. I'll keep everyone updated and know
this very special girl has touched us all.

yes, we all are praying for Brandi. And I on behalf of all other siberian huskies believe that Brandi will be fit and fine very soon.
